It was rainy all week and we weren’t sure if we should take these that day. We decided to try anyway and after about 20 minutes it started to rain! Glad we got there before the storm hit <3
I was a little worried about my headspace during this photoshoot because my mind was like mush that day. I had some life stuff come up and emotionally I needed to unwind- the mountain air and doing what I love (taking photos) made me feel so much more clear. Isn’t it amazing what getting outside and doing what you love can do for your soul? Jena looked stunning, she has such a calm and chill personality- it made taking photos of her such a pleasant experience <3
There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a new baby, it changes the whole feel of your family and home. Just loved meeting this new little angel. <3

I love how personal In-Home sessions can be. There is nothing like taking photos for a family in their own space, there is no rush and you can just photograph them being themselves. These kiddos were so sweet and loving so much on their new little pup!
This was one of my favorite sessions I have ever shot, things were just flowing smoothly and I loved how natural the couple was with each other. I can't wait fo these two to tie the knot!!
It's been so nice to see old friends lately. It's incredible to see your friends grow in this crazy life, from meeting their spouse, to getting married, to having kids. It just blows my mind that my friends are having children, and the days of college and not knowing what the heck is going on (maybe that never goes away actually) are done and over with. GAH feeling older and it's crazy. Anyway this is Henry, the cutest little 1 year old ever. His parents are great friends and I was so happy that they wanted me to take photos of their little angel babe.
